ErrorCode : 283 while converting a xlsx file to a pdf

Post by zmotiwala »

We have a xlsx file with a really long name
EMAIL 000000_ aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa.xlsx

When we take this file and using jod converter and libre office we try and convert it to a pdf we get the following exception. We are using libre portable 4.1.4.2. What does error code 283 mean, the folder has all the write permission needed. This is on a windows server.

Is your file attached to an email, or has it been saved to the local hard disk? If not, you should save it to the hard disk and try again.

It is saved to the hard disk. What does error code 283 indicate though?

This might be of help

Another thread I found suggested that Java may be staring a second instance and that might be causing the problem.
Search for "Java error 283" (no quotes).
