I try to set up a database to write labels for envelopes.
I have a spreadsheet with all data neatly sorted. Open office crashed three times while storing after parsing.
I have started over and over again.
I have defined a database with the correct datatypes.
I have defined a table, which I do not find how to open.
I have defined a scheme to enter data, which is not what I need, but I find nowhere how to get the data from my spreadsheet to the table.
I have searched the help-file, finding no undertandable help to understand the basics.
I am getting very frustrated...
So, It would be helpful to get some advice as to where to get an understandable intro, and I would be very grateful.
