My 2 Cents on AOO with Ubuntu Linux: https://bz.apache.org/ooo/show_bug.cgi?id=127710
X11 vs. Wayland makes another difference. Because AOO is no longer developed, the software can not cope with any changes in its environment.
Generally speaking, LibreOffice and OpenOffice both struggle with different weird display issues on Linux. I've seen the OPs screen update problem myself in some version of LO but I don't remember which version that was. And I don't know if it was gone after an LO upgrade or Linux upgrade.
How to detect if Wayland is running:
The c1 session on tty1 is the log-in screen.
Session 26 ion tty2 s my desktop session.
Both sessions are based on Wayland.
Testing session 26

Code: Select all
