Lost a document in OpenOffice Writer
Lost a document in OpenOffice Writer
I finished typing a document I was certain I saved it and it was autosaving all the time However, I can't figure out where it went? There's no sign of it? Now what? I can't remember how I titled it or if I typed it on a document I already have saved There are so many.

If you use Windows, then the default saving place is the Documents directory for a new document. An existing (older) document will be saved onto its original place by default.I can't figure out where it went? There's no sign of it? Now what? If you changed the default path during the save procedure, then _you_ must remember the file name, and the saving place if the document flows out from the Recent Documents list.
(The LibreOffice has an adjustable Recent List count. If you set the number to a higher value, then the LO can remember even 50 documents...)
