I have just installed an update to Java 1.8.0_321. Following this the Options/java screen reflects this change, but when I try to open an existing database I get the Filtered Selection screen.
I created a new database, saved it and it then opens OK.
How can I get an existing one to open successfully?

That file is corrupted, no matter what you install or not.
