When I open my Writer and go to Help and Check for updates...I ALWAYS get Checking for an update failed. WHY? It is saying Error reading data from the Internet. Server error message: .
I'm not having any internet issues ...so is this an open office server error because I download everyday...in fact I just updated one of the browsers I use, utilizing their update button. My version is 4.1.6 and says it's from 2018...so I figured it was time to check...hahahaha And I did see Apache OpenOffice 4.1.11 released...how do I get it updated?

Re: Update not Working
This was a known issue up until the release of AOO 4.1.8 where the issue was fixed - see [Issue] Check for Updates feature fails
Latest version of AOO is 4.1.11; if you need to update to that get it from http://www.openoffice.org/download/
