Poor access to forum website

Got a lot of timeouts and long waits for the forum to open. Anyone else with the same problem?

There seemed to be a problem with routing to/from the forum this morning (09:00- 10:00 UTC 20241103), but sorted before 11:00.

A traceroute showed asymmetric connections - To going one way, From coming another - but that may not have been the cause.

It has been going on for some days now. Sometimes the forum opens right away, at other times it's a long wait or total failure. Other websites load just fine. That is why I asked. Thanks for the heads up, anyway.

This topic may be related to Forum pages load slowly and Site very slow for a few days. Has anyone noticed this? about a year ago. Both then and more recently I have sometimes had difficulty with slow response from the forum. Based on that discussion I think that the web server administrators know about the problem. I don't know if they have a solution yet. I have decided to just accept that the forum will be slow at times, and when that happens I find other things to do and try again a few hours later or the next day.

I find that the inability to connect will often clear withing a few (10-30) minutes.
