[Solved] Moving a comment in Writer

Posting this as solved for the benefit of any one who might find it useful. How to move a comment in Writer:

1. Position the cursor before the comment (a character or two)
2. Move forward (right-arrow) until the line going to the comment turns solid
3. Holding Shift, press the right arrow once (line becomes dashed again)
4. Ctrl-X
5. Move to the new location and Ctrl-V

Thanks. I have been using the workaround of copying the contents, creating a new comment, pasting them in, and deleting the old one!

Update and a caveat

If you want to duplicate a comment, instead of Ctrl-X in point 4, use Ctrl-C.

Caveat (just discovered): The moved/duplicated comment retains its timestamp even if the content is changed. This may not be desirable if you're trying to track when comments were made.

It is reasonable that a moved or copied comment maintains its timestamp. If you wish the same text in a new comment, make a new comment and copy/paste the test from the old into the new.

After 3 you can drag and drop with the mouse, holdng Ctrl key if you want to duplicate.

Interesting, just to clarify, after steps 1-3 above, you can drag-and-drop.
