A couple days ago (Not sure if this is the reason) - my PC got the blue screen crash. I'm using Windows 10, so we can no longer call it the blue screen of death, but still you get the point. However, this occurred AFTER I'd already completely shut down my Open Office application. Anyway, I have a spreadsheet it's a .ods file, and when I try to open it up - it goes into a new 'conversion' window that pops up. This is the first time I've ever seen that. The ASCII Filter Options - three fields on this are the: Character set, Default Fonts, and Language, plus at the bottom it's asking me for the Paragraph break setting.
Anyway, after I don't change anything here and just press the 'OK' button - it automatically goes into the Open Office 'Writer' app instead of opening it up like a spreadsheet? Oh, and the entire document now is completely filled with #### marks like that. Any help here?
Thanks

Re: Corrupted Spreadsheet issue
Hi and welcome to the forum!
Sadly, not much to do I fear. See: [Tutorial] The Dreaded Pound Signs: file reduced to ####. Good luck. I hope you had backups.
