Error saving document - writing content.xml

I have a master document in which I had multiple sections imbedded. When saving it I got the following error message:

Error saving the document Untitled 2:
Write Error.
Error in writing sub-document content.xml.

I tracked the cause down to a specific file I was imbedding which I have editted to a small enough size to be attachable (& it still gives the problem)

I recreated my document, pasting in the content from the "bad" document and it now works fine.

I can recreate the error by creating a new master document, inserting a section with the attached bad file, and then trying to save.
Hopefully someone else can also recreate the error and use this to track down the cause.

It opens fine in AOO but when I pull it in to a master document only part of it comes in.

If I go Insert > File ..., and try to insert it into a new, empty document (which often fixes problems) it gives a General error.

As it is such a simple document it's not really worth debugging it - just create a new one from scratch. It has WW8... styles suggesting it originated as an MS Word document.

Loaded into a version of AOO it loads OK; Page Header and Footer both show unresolved links to the same WWSetBkmk1 bookmark, which is probably the problem.
Edit: /Insert /File into a blank document gives "General error", as John_Ha found.

The error I was pointing to was when I tried to save the master document that I had imbedded this snippet in.

It came up with the non-specific "error writing sub-document xml" message which I know others have complained about before.
I wasn't sure that the cause of this error message had been tracked down.

I have no problem editting the file in Libreoffice, nor in inserting it as a section in a Libreoffice master document.
The non-specific error message "Error in writing sub-document content.xml." came when I tried to save the master document.

I don't have an ongoing problem - I recreated the file OK - so the only thing is if anyone wants to track down the cause of the "Error in writing sub-document content.xml." message
