I just printed a Doc and it just disappeared. I am the only one using and know for certain I did not delete it????????????????????
Is there a search I do not know about- This is an emergency ?

If you saved the file, search for the name under which you saved it.
If you never saved the file, and if no AutoRecovery save took place, there is no way to recover the data as it was only ever held in memory and was never written to disk. You probably hit the X at top right and clicked Discard.
Scan the printed document and use OCR to convert it to text.

File searching is a function for your operating system file manager or a separate search utility that you installed, not OpenOffice. If you need help searching for files, post the name of your operating system or search utility.
