Central European University
The main venue for our conference is CEU, a graduate institution founded in 1991 by George Soros with the aim of creating a distincly Central European center for research and policy analysis. Hungarian Parliament
On September 1st, 2010, the conference plenary session will be held in one of Hungary’s most famous landmarks. Completed in 1904, the Gothic Revival-style Parliament Building is one of Europe’s oldest and most beautiful. For map, click here. File:Hpsmall.png

From "Deák tér" walk past the Meridien Hotel, cross the zebra and walk across the park as indicated on the map below At the corner, cross "József Attila u.". Continue towards the supermarket (CBA) and keep going straight on till you reach "Zrinyi utca", 2 streets down. Turn left and find the main entrance of CEU on the right side of the street at the corner of "Zrinyi" and "Nádor" street (Nádor utca 9).

Public Transportation
Budapest has 3 metro lines: M1 (yellow), M2 (red) and M3 (blue). All 3 lines intersect in the heart of the city, at Deák tér. Trains run every 2-5 minutes from 4:30 am to 23:10 pm.
