Isn't the easy way to do this:-
1. select data
2. Data - Filter - Standard Filter - More - no duplication
or have I missed something? ;)
3. Copy, remove filter, delete, paste to make it permanent

Excellent point, but in the value column I had to put "Not Empty"
Using the standard filter will eliminate rows that are _exact_ duplicates (all cells must match).
Using a formula comparing just one column as criteria whether to see a row as duplicate or not in IMHO a bit questionable, but it might have its uses.
