Education (englisch) bedeutet: Unterricht, Ausbildung, Bildungswesen.

Was ist das Education project ?
Innerhalb von OpenOffice.org ist alles ein Projekt. Alle Projekt-Websites haben folgende URL: http://$(project).OpenOffice.org

Momentan ist OpenOffice.Education noch kein ausgewachsenens Projekt, bis dahin bleicht noch sehr viel zu tun.

In 3 Punkten:
- Einen Platz für OpenOffice.org Benutzer zu schaffen, die mit Education (Ausbildung) zu tun haben: diskutieren wie man OpenOffice.org für Pädagogen einsetzten kann, wie man es anpasst etc. (alles was mit Bildung zu tun hat gehört hierher)
- Anbieten und Vorstellen von tools für den pädagogigschen Einsatz rund um OpenOffice.org
- Write code together : Wir können Ihnen alles beibringen zum Thema OpenOffice code (programmieren) und wie Sie Ihren Code einbringen.

Where start ?
JOIN THE PROJECT
Thanks to respect the steps below :
Go at http://education.openoffice.org <= exactly this site ...
If you don't have a login, create one is mandatory ( on top right)
Validate all the steps allowing to connnect yourself to the Education Project ( confirm the subscription mail and so on )
Log you in with the password you have choosen,
Click on Membership, then on Request project membership / role
Finaly, click on "Submit Request" and wait for a project Lead accpect your pending request
That's it :-)
