Bio

Daniel Stoni started his community journey in September 2008 after having studied free software for quite a while. He became freelancer/consultant focusing on free software desktops and is now working for small and midmarket companies in Switzerland. During his prior career he was always member of support and services organizations in different roles and he has broad experience on operating systems, end user computing, collaboration, web technology and more.

In 2009 he was asked to initiate the activities to build a Swiss OpenOffice.org community which was then founded by end of October 2009.
